Opportunity for a full stack Web developer to join our multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the development and deployment of a Web platform for infectious disease monitoring.

Requirements:

Core Skills: 

  • Golang: Experience developing robust and scalable backend systems using Go, with a focus on building efficient microservices, RESTful, and GRPC APIs.
  •  React: Proficiency in React Typescript applications, capable of improving the existing frontend application and building new features.
  •  MongoDB: Proven expertise in working with MongoDB, encompassing data modeling, complex querying, performance tuning, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Refactoring: Experience in refactoring large, intricate codebases, enhancing maintainability, readability, and performance without introducing regressions.
  •  Distributed systems: Working knowledge of distributed systems, particularly microservices architectures. Understanding of key microservices concepts, principles, and patterns.

Desirable Skills: 

  • Cloud & Orchestration: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes for containerized deployment and management.
  • Testing: Commitment to quality through writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The candidate has to have at least 5 years of experience in this field. The ideal candidate is a full-stack developer with a strong backend foundation in Go. The candidate has a proven ability to revitalize legacy codebases, introduce new features, and optimize performance within a microservices ecosystem. They’re proactive problem-solvers, committed to delivering high-quality, maintainable code following architectural guidance
Work in presence is desirable but also remote work can be negotiated.
