An embedding-based distance for temporal graphs

Data Science

A new publication on Nature Communications “An embedding-based distance for temporal graphs” by Lorenzo Dall’ Amico in collaboration with Ciro Cattuto and Alain Barrat.
Temporal graphs can be applied to represent time-evolving complex natural systems, describing the evolution of the interactions between system elements, however quantifying the similarity between temporal graphs remains an open problem.
The authors introduce a notion of distance to compare time-resolved interaction patterns, based on their representations as temporal graphs.
