CS2Italy 2025 – 1st Conference On Computational Social Science
CS2Italy, the first Italian Conference on Computational Social Science, organized by the Università di Trento in collaboration with ISI Foundation, Fondazione Bruno Kessler, and ISTC-CNR, will be held in Trento from January 16 to 18, 2025.
The conference will feature an opening talk by ISI Foundation President Alessandro Vespignani and contributed talks by several ISI Senior Researchers: Dr. Yelena Mejova will present “Narratives of War: Ukrainian Memetic Warfare on Twitter“; Dr. Mattia Mazzoli will discuss “Exploring the underreporting of the burden of influenza-like illness during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic by investigating healthcare-seeking behavior in participatory surveillance: a multiple-country comparison“; and Dr. Kyriaki Kalimeri will share insights on “Socioeconomic-informed emergency relocation dynamics during wildfires in Chile.”
With over 130 participants and 90 speakers from across Italy and worldwide—including Europe, the US, Australia, and the UK—the conference will explore the intersection of social sciences and computational methods.
