Tensor-based methods for temporal networks: a talk by Laetitia Gauvin at Tensors (Politecnico di Torino)

How can tensor factorization help the study of temporal networks? ISI Foundation Research Leader Laetitia Gauvin will discuss this issue, Friday 14th September, at the “Tensors” workshop in Torino. In her invited talk, Gauvin will first focus on the analysis of the topological structures that characterize time-varying networks, then she will present a study on the interplay between the structures of time-varying networks and the dynamic processes unfolding over them. She will finally present some work on the extension of the framework of standard tensor factorization to infer missing data from a incomplete data.

Organized by Politecnico di Torino inside the project DISMA – Dipartimento di Eccellenza 2018-2022, "Tensors" is a scientific workshop gathering experts from different branches of mathematics and engineering in which tensors play a crucial role. Laetitia Gauvin's talk is scheduled at 14.30 in Classroom 1D.
