Progetto Lagrange-Fondazione CRT 2022: Call for 10 scholarships for research on Data Science for Social Good (in Italian)
Fondazione ISI e Fondazione CRT rinnovano il loro impegno sull’impatto sociale dei dati, confermando il sostegno per l’anno 2022 alle Borse di Ricerca Applicata del Progetto Lagrange-Fondazione CRT, destinate ai neo-laureati in discipline tecnico-scientifiche.
Il bando prevede l’assegnazione di 10 borse di ricerca della durata di 12 mesi, su temi di scienza dei dati ed intelligenza artificiale applicate a problemi ad alto impatto sociale, inclusi ad esempio la salute pubblica, la risposta umanitaria, il futuro delle città, lo sviluppo sostenibile.
I progetti di ricerca saranno condotti presso il laboratorio di Fondazione ISI situato all’interno delle Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR) di Torino, sotto la supervisione dei ricercatori senior dell’Istituto.
I candidati selezionati avranno l’opportunità di lavorare in un ambiente di ricerca internazionale, in collaborazione con organizzazioni partner che includono fornitori di dati in ambito industriale, organizzazioni non governative, centri di ricerca europei in ambito di scienza dei dati, di scienza delle reti, di scienze sociali computazionali.
Il bando si rivolge ai possessori di laurea magistrale in discipline tecnico-scientifiche, che dovranno risiedere in Piemonte o Valle d’Aosta all’avvio del progetto. Le candidature dovranno pervenire entro il 10 febbraio 2023.

ISI Foundation and CRT Foundation renew their commitment to the social impact of data, confirming their support for the year 2022 to the Applied Research Scholarships of the Lagrange-Fondazione CRT Project, intended for new graduates in technical-scientific disciplines.
The call provides for the award of 10 research grants lasting 12 months, on data science and artificial intelligence topics applied to problems with a high social impact, including public health, humanitarian response, the future of cities, sustainable development.
The research projects will be conducted at the ISI Foundation laboratory located inside the Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR) in Turin, under the supervision of the Institute’s senior researchers.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in an international research environment, in collaboration with partner organizations including industrial data providers, non-governmental organizations, European research centers in data science, network science, of computational social sciences.
Applicants should have master’s degrees in technical-scientific disciplines and they must reside in Piedmont or Valle d’Aosta at the start of the project.
Applications must be received by 10 February 2023.
