ISI Foundation joins Complex Networks 2019 Satellite on Social Good in Portugal

The 8th International Conference on Complex Networks and their Applications is an international event that brings together researchers from different scientific communities working on areas related to complex networks. Held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 10th to 12th December, the conference is preceded Monday 9th December by a satellite event, the “Complex Networks 2019 Satellite: Social Good”.

In line with the goals of the conference, the workshop is aiming at fostering the intersection between theoretical contributions and empirical research. It is divided in two main sessions: the former focuses on “People and Societies” (exploring how Data and Networks Science can make people's lives better), the latter on “Biology and Medicine” (examining the evolution of fields like Computational Biology and Computational Epidemiology).

ISI Foundation is joining the workshop with ISI Scientific Director Ciro Cattuto and ISI Research Leader Daniela Paolotti.
