ICAIH 2019: a new conference about Artificial Intelligence and the future of health

How is Artificial Intelligence shaping the future of health? This is the big issue addressed by ICAIH 2019, the first Industrial Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Health. Held in Milan from 13th to 14th November and aimed at constituting a forum focused on the theme, the conference will involve companies operating in the sector, start-ups, clinicians, researchers, and public administrators, who will investigate all the areas where AI is enabling technology for health and well being: from bioinformatics to drug discovery, from clinics to health care.

ISI Foundation Research Leader Daniela Paolotti is among the keynote speakers. Thursday morning (November 14, 11.40) she will give a talk about “Artificial Intelligence for Surveillance and Public Health”, presenting the AI-based applications that in recent years have improved public health outcomes. Paolotti is the scientific coordinator of Influweb and of the European Influenzanet network for Web-based flu surveillance).
