Data Science for Social Good workshop at Web Conference 2020

Online and kicking. Originally set in Taipei, inside the program of the Web Conference 2020, the Data Science for Social Good workshop developed as a series of online Zoom presentations, with participants joining from home.

Co-organized by ISI Foundation researchers Daniela Paolotti, Ciro Cattuto and Michele Tizzoni, the workshop reviewed the potential and emerging field of data science for good, with a strong focus on new partnerships for the data age (Data Collaboratives) to unlock both data and data science capabilities.

Program included a keynote talk by Elad Yom-Tom (Microsoft Research) and multidisciplinary presentations on several fields strongly involving data and data science, like transportation, urban mobility, information and Artificial Intelligence.
