Registrations for Big Dive 2017, the training school on Data Science, are open!

Registrations for Big Dive 2017 are open. The sixth edition of the training program on Development, Visualization and Data Science will be held in Turin, Italy, from June 19th to July 21st. Twenty participants will be admitted, with three cross-disciplinary study paths, special events with data-experts and a final and public exhibition of results.        

Big Dive is designed to boost the technical skills a data scientist needs to dive into the Big Data universe, to extract value for huge datasets, and to create social and economic impact in a world where data are becoming fundamental assets not only for business, but also for social good and development. As usual, the training school will be a street-fighting gym, where high value real datasets will be the raw material in the hands of a group of ambitious smart geeks.        

Big Dive participants will be tutored and mentored by experts in Development, Visualization and Data Science, including ISI Foundation Scientific Director and Data Science Lab Leader Ciro Cattuto, ISI Principal Researchers Laetitia Gauvin, André Panisson and Michele Tizzoni, and ISI Applied Data Science Manager Paolo Bajardi. An idea of TOP-IX Consortium in collaboration with Axant, ISI Foundation and ToDo, Big Dive 2017 will be hosted at Rinascimenti Sociali.
