From data to smart city maps: Marco Quaggiotto joins Visualized Milan
ISI Foundation Researcher Marco Quaggiotto is joining the Visualized event in Milan, Saturday 11th March 2017. Quaggiotto will speak at the end of the first morning session, at 10.10, sharing his experience at the Data Interfaces laboratory and talking about the tools and the scientific approach that led to the development of innovative interactive data maps like Flickr Cities and Infrazioni.
Visualized is an international conference that explores the evolution of communication at the intersection of data, storytelling and design. After having visited Berlin and London, the third edition of the event is coming to Milan. It will gather data scientists, artists, designers, researchers and many more experts to explore experiential information communication projects. Key areas covered in the 2017 event will be data visualization, interaction design, virtual environments and intelligent objects.
